Empowerment & Knowledge Building
Knowledge is power. For families living with cerebral palsy (CP), the right knowledge can mean the difference between isolation and inclusion, between despair and hope.

GREAT (GAPS – Resource, Education, Awareness & Therapy) is a daily academic-therapy-life skills programme for students with CP aged between 6 – 25 years old who are not accepted in schools. IEP (Individualised Education Plan) ensures the right adaptation, accommodation and modification on each student’s educational, rehabilitation, social and vocational skills.
The long term aim is to increase career opportunities and employability for people with CP.
This project is to empower individuals with CP with the knowledge and skills relevant to their abilities, enabling them to generate income in creative industry. The participants were taught to design, produce and sell made-to-order custom merchandise with support from GAPS.

At GAPS (Gabungan Anak-Anak Palsi Serebrum), we believe that every child with cerebral palsy is more than their diagnosis.
Behind every child, there is a family filled with love, worry, and endless hope.
Behind every family, there is a story of courage — of sleepless nights, of tears, but also of laughter and small victories that mean the world.
