Socio-Emotional Supports & Advocacy
Living with cerebral palsy affects not only the child but also the entire family. At GAPS, we recognise that emotional well-being is just as important as physical therapy.
Living with cerebral palsy affects not only the child but also the entire family. At GAPS, we recognise that emotional well-being is just as important as physical therapy.
GAPS provides networking mediums or hubs to educate and disseminate knowledge, news, and information, as well as formal and informal discussions, and offline or face-to-face gatherings and activities.
We continuously plan and organise variety of programmes, online and offline, covering all sorts of areas and where possible, through smart partnerships to encourage community and corporate social involvement. Provides socio-emotional supports to our members to come together in a safe space and share information, experiences, encouragement, comfort and coping strategies.
Helping families develop strength and coping strategies to navigate challenges with confidence
Fostering a supportive community where families can share experiences and find encouragement
Working to improve policies, reduce stigma, and create a more inclusive society for all
At GAPS (Gabungan Anak-Anak Palsi Serebrum), we believe that every child with cerebral palsy is more than their diagnosis.
Behind every child, there is a family filled with love, worry, and endless hope.
Behind every family, there is a story of courage — of sleepless nights, of tears, but also of laughter and small victories that mean the world.
